Fraser Centre / Hyatt Place State College



The Fraser Centre is a first of its kind in State College, PA. Located one block away from The Pennsylvania State University, consisting of 50,000 square feet of retail space, a Hyatt Place Hotel and Conference Center, and four floors of residential condominiums. The property was co-developed by Real Estate Capital Management and BrickBox Enterprises, and is owned by an investment partnership formed and owned by Real Estate Capital Management, the PB Balanced Property Fund and BrickBox Enterprises.


Market Square Plaza






Market Square Plaza is owned by an affiliate of Real Estate Capital Management and is a 260,000± square foot, 18-story Class A+ office building in downtown Harrisburg, including 276 private and secure parking spaces. The property’s central location and proximity to the State Capitol Complex, along with its convenient climate-controlled interconnections between neighboring buildings – Strawberry Square, the Harrisburg Hilton, the Whitaker Center, and the Walnut Street Garage make Market Square Plaza the premier Class A+ office property in Harrisburg.


Marriott Courtyard Philadelphia City Avenue





The Courtyard Philadelphia City Avenue hotel was redeveloped in 2016 from a Crowne Plaza hotel. Real Estate Capital Management provides asset management services to the hotel. Located just off I-76 and City Avenue, between downtown Philadelphia and the suburbs, the hotel offers centrally located luxury accommodations, including 335 guest rooms, 7,000 square feet of flexible conference and ballroom space for Meetings and Events.


Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Office Portfolio









A 133,000 square foot office portfolio located throughout the Harrisburg metropolitan area. The portfolio is well occupied and represents a core investment for the PB Balanced Property Fund. The Fund owns a majority interest in the properties along with sidecar investors brought in by Real Estate Capital Management.


Camp Hill, Pennsylvania Office Portfolio

A 148,000 square foot office portfolio located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The portfolio is well occupied and represents a core investment for the PB Balanced Property Fund II. The Fund owns 100% of both properties. With the addition of these two properties, Real Estate Capital Management has over 540,000 square feet of office space in the Harrisburg / Hershey / Carlisle office market.

Scholar Hotel at West Virginia University

Scholar Hotel at West Virginia University was purchased by the PB Balanced Property Fund II in December 2017 as The Chestnut Hotel. The property includes a 41-room hotel, 45-car parking garage and 8,000 square feet of retail space. Renovations to convert The Chestnut Hotel to a Scholar Hotel are underway and are expected to be complete in Summer 2018.

Scholar Hotel & ScholarX Hotel at Syracuse University

Scholar Hotel & ScholarX Hotel at Syracuse University were purchased by the PB Balanced Property Fund II in October 2018 as The Genesee Grande Hotel. The property includes 158 guest rooms split between two buildings and a full service restaurant and conference center. A mix of traditional and extended stay hotel rooms make up the 158 guest rooms between the two buildings.

ScholarX Hotel at The Pennsylvania State University (Coming Soon)

ScholarX Hotel at the Pennsylvania State University, a Historic Property built in 1933 in downtown State College, PA, was purchased in August 2019 by a partnership that includes the PB Balanced Property Fund II. The property is in the process of being converted from an office and apartment building into an extended stay hotel consisting of 72 guest rooms, a bar / bistro and meeting space.

This 35,000 square foot office development, located in Susquehanna Township, Pennsylvania was developed by an affiliate of Real Estate Capital Management and sold to its major tenant, Susquehanna River Basin Commission ( at completion.
